Brief review:
I believe that this book is for sixth grade and upper grade levels. It would be a great escape book for females. The book does not require much thinking. It would be more for a girl who likes to read about some history and fantasy. I liked the good connection with why Edward is sick and how to cure him with Samantha’s modern day knowledge. It is a modern day book because of its big connection with medicine. I recommend that this book should not be used in a guided reading group and would best be used as an independent read.
